Description

The 1769-IT6 module facilitates accurate temperature data acquisition by supporting various thermocouple types, including J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, and C, as well as millivolt inputs ranging from ±50 mV to ±100 mV. Each of its six input channels can be individually configured to accommodate specific input devices, data formats, and filter frequencies, ensuring flexibility across diverse applications. The module features built-in cold junction compensation (CJC) sensors to maintain measurement accuracy by compensating for temperature variations at the terminal connections. It also provides diagnostic capabilities such as over-range, under-range, and open-circuit detection, enhancing system reliability. Compatible with CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 controllers, the 1769-IT6 integrates seamlessly into existing Allen-Bradley automation setups.
