Description

The 1771-P7 Series B power supply is engineered to deliver reliable 5V DC power to Allen-Bradley PLC-5 systems. It accepts input voltages of 120V AC (97–132V AC) at 2.0 A or 220V AC (195–264V AC) at 1.0 A, with a frequency range of 47–63 Hz. The unit provides a regulated output voltage of 5.06V DC with a maximum output current of 16 A, ensuring stable power for connected modules. Designed for flexibility, the 1771-P7 can be mounted directly to the left side of a panel-mounted I/O chassis or installed separately, provided it is positioned above or next to the chassis to allow for proper convection cooling. The power supply connects to the I/O chassis via a D-shell power connector, with compatible power cables such as the 1771-CP1, 1771-CP2, or 1771-CP3, depending on the mounting configuration. For safety and compliance, the 1771-P7 is UL Listed and CSA Certified.
